CompactLine

It allows the user to monitor in a continuous and reliable manner, the functioning of the plant (alarms, pre-alarm and signallers); it enables the user to monitor technological parameters (electric current and tension, piezometric levels and so on) and environmental parameters (temperature, humidity atmospheric pressure etc.); and it allows the user to activate the commands both at local and remote level.

Unlike UniControl, the CompactLine System has a centralized and compact structure, which is very convenient and user friendly (as well as being very economical to run) for plants with a limited number of input and output and control and measuring points nearby.

This system enables the user to visualize the information obtained and its transfer to the supervision software programme.

Main function

In brief, Compact Systems carries out the following functions:

  • correlation calculations between input and output;
  • automatic calls to the supervision software programme;
  • transfers data between widely different communication networks (LAN, Ethernet, PTSN, GSM/GPRS etc.) utilizing a supplementary back-up line where necessary;
  • visualizes on its display (LCD 20x2 characters) and a keyboard alarms pre-alarms, recordings, faults and measurements;
  • manages an archive of events and measurements.
  •

Input/Output

  • Digital inputs: it is provided with 8 digital inputs individually opto-isolated.
  • Analogical inputs: it is provided with up to 4 independent analogical signals, each of which can be configured and connected to a different type of transducer (temperature, humidity atmospheric pressure etc.) Transducers with an output signal of 0÷5VDC are directly connected to the system. Others with output signals of 0÷20MA, 4÷20MA 0÷10VDC etc are connected to the system via a signal converter.
  • Digital outputs: activates 2 digital relay outputs from 6A to 250VCA.
  • Analogical outputs: allow the user to regulate 2 analogical outputs at a voltage of 0÷5VDC. To control the technological apparatus with different electrical outputs (0÷20mA, 4÷20mA, 0÷10Vdc, etc.) a signal converter is used.
