A prolonged cut in supply to the technological sites on account of time consuming safety and reconnection measures can lead to direct economic loss (breakdown in service, cost of repair work etc.) and indirect economic damage (corporate image, problems connected with staff organisation and so on).

The rearming device was designed for automatic rearming, by remote and local commands, of the MT Switch.

In such way is possible to spare time due manual reconnection and money for technicians intervention.

The rearming device allows the user to identify the cause of the disconnection (differential intervention, overload or short circuit), to find out the state of the line and to block some kind of not allowed rearming actions.

The device was designed to work in "safe mode". Indeed, it is not possible to rearm the switch in some conditions, i.e. in maintenance modality of the main electric board set by a local operator, or plant anomaly.

This family of devices, can be used for public lighting, in radio base stations, in electric cabins and in unmanned or not-easly reachable plants in general.

This device can be eventually managed by supervision software, with direct connection (stand-alone modality) or by the inclusion in the unicontrol peripheral monitoring system.
