Labyrinth is a research system that automatically classifies into semantic categories potentially useful information from the internet.
The project has developed a distributed software architecture orientated towards document searching; it has adopted innovative technologies in order to obtain results that will satisfy real research needs on market documentation.
In particular, Labyrinth allows the user to:
-
automatically classify documents through an updating procedure which is quicker, more effective and has a wider range;
-
improve classification processes by structuring the various documents in a more detailed manner;
-
reveal, in a structured way, the data through the grouping of documents into different categories;
-
reduce classification times by means of the efficient distribution of the work load through the use of distributed agents.
